Director of Spa

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SPA Director to be part of our team at Banyan Tree Al Ula and lead the Wellness and Recreation Team.

What will you be doing:

- Responsible for managing all areas of the spa, Health Club and fitness center, including its services, services, hours of operation, facilities and team.
- As SPA & Health Club Director you will establish and execute clear short- and long-term goals.
- You develop the strategic direction of the department, including marketing and social activities to promote the spa and wellness facilities. You proactively manage the financial P/L to maximize business opportunities.
- You will manage internal auditing processes to ensure highest satisfaction of guests and members.
- You will work hand-in-hand with suppliers to ensure exceptional product and service delivery.
- You are in charge to lead and motivate the spa and fitness/recreation team.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum of two (2) years spa management in a luxury hotel or cruise ship environment is required, with club management an asset
- The ability to understand financial information and data, and perform advanced arithmetic functions
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs including but not limited to excel, word, PowerPoint.
- Experience with Book4Time is an asset.
- Current CPR certification is an asset
- Must be enthusiastic, motivated, and a team player.
- Strong work ethic, highly responsible, reliable and the ability to work extended hours including evenings, public holidays and weekends is required
- Proven leadership, team management, training and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams
- Must have experience in budgeting and reporting such as forecasting and P&L
- Must have outstanding experience delivering high-quality customer service.
- Display good organizational, written, and verbal skills.
- Available to work late, weekends and holidays
