Job Overview:
As a Director within our Transfer Pricing team, you will lead a team of innovators to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Additionally, you will also be involved in managing the Transfer Pricing Practice, which will foster your professional & leadership growth.
Role Description:
As a steward of inter company pricing arrangements among related business entities, your expertise shall span the transfers of
intellectual property, tangible goods, services, Advance Pricing Agreements and financial transactions. You will play a crucial role in steering complex business issues from strategic planning to operational execution.
• Clients Management: You will manage current key client relationships, providing strategic advice and support on complex transfer pricing issues. You will also oversee the preparation and review of client deliverables to ensure that they are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Practice Management: You will lead the development of the transfer pricing practice in Saudi Arabia, including developing thought leadership, implementing best practices, and participating in firm-wide initiatives.
• Team Leadership & Development: You will manage and mentor the Transfer Pricing team, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the team and ensuring that all team members meet their goals.
• Business Development: You will be required to develop new business opportunities and building relationships with prospective clients. You will also participate in proposals, webinars, seminars and presentations to clients.
• Risk Management: You will be responsible for managing risks associated with client engagements, including assessing and mitigating potential risks.
• Transfer Pricing Compliance: You will oversee the preparation and review of CTDF, Local files, Master Files, and any relevant and other transfer pricing filings in accordance with the relevant tax regulations in Saudi Arabia. You will also ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Transfer Pricing Advisory: You will oversee the preparation and review of advice shared with our clients to ensure it abides with the relevant tax regulations in Saudi Arabia. You will also ensure that all transfer pricing advisory deadlines are met.
Requirements:
• Education: You should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree in tax or accounting is preferred.
• Professional Certification: You should have a professional certification in accounting or tax (e.g. CPA, CMA, ACCA, ADIT, CTA).
• Skills: You should have an entrepreneurial personality, strong leadership skills, strong analytical skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience: You should have at least 8-12 years of relevant experience in a tax or accounting firm, with at least 4-6 of those years in a leadership role.
• Language: Fluency in English is Mandatory and Arabic is highly preferable.
