Distribution Center Manager

Job description / Role

A leading multinational FMCG business is currently seeking an experienced Arabic Distribution Center Manager to join them within their busy environment. The business is a market leader within its sector and recognized as a top employer globally.

As a Distributor Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing & controlling day to day operation of the products’ distribution
- Management of sales fleet covering the KSA market
- Control Distribution and Maintenance via an ERP application
- Manage a team of professionals and set their objectives. Furnishing performance appraisals and feedback to the higher managements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and transporters to ensure that goods are cleared and delivered in a timely manner in all company locations
- Ensure proper implementation of security systems
- Making various management information reports of inventory

Requirements

- Proven 5 years of distribution experience within an FMCG business; preferably a multinational
- Strong knowledge and experience in sales, logistics and production
- Good knowledge of transport regulations and operational issues relating to KSA
- Good English communications skills
- Must have experience in Food (FMCG) distribution and must have handled at least 100 people
- Must have experience in warehousing, inventory, fleet management in a similar industry

Due to visa restrictions, Jordanian and Lebanese nationals will be considered for this position.
