Overview of the role

The Divisional Manager of the Elevator & Escalator Division, KSA, oversees all aspects of design, sales, installation, maintenance, and quality of elevator/escalator equipment provided to customers. Responsibilities include managing relationships with principals, customers, developers, and consultants, as well as handling the division's P&L. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating operations, while ensuring improved performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective strategies and methods.

What you will do

Financials:
- Responsible for managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the Elevators Division, KSA.
- Monitoring and overseeing Accounts Receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Managing Cash Flow to maintain liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Controlling costs within the allocated budget to optimize financial performance.
- Identifying and managing risks to ensure smooth operations and mitigate potential issues.
- Aligning the division's objectives with AFET's broader vision and strategic goals.

Business Development & Processes:
- Drive business growth by expanding opportunities with existing clients.
- Enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies to grow the customer base.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key principals and partners to support business expansion.
- Streamline and improve organizational processes and procedures for greater operational efficiency.

Engineering, Sales, Installation & Maintenance:
- Lead pre-sales engineering and estimation activities to provide accurate technical proposals and cost assessments.
- Oversee sales efforts, driving business growth and client acquisition.
- Manage the installation and execution of projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Supervise maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance and longevity of installed systems.

Quality / Standards, Health, Safety & Environment:
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and standards across all operations.
- Monitor and control the quality performance of projects to meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
- Oversee and enforce adherence to AFE's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policy.
- Actively support and participate in safety and environmental initiatives to promote a safe and sustainable workplace.

- Minimum 15+ years of experience in management position in Elevators & Escalators Industry, preferably in the GCC.
- Excellent knowledge of Contract Conditions, Health and Safety Regulations, Local Authorities Requirements for the Projects & Maintenance of Elevators & Escalators.
- Well Conversant with International Standards and specifications for Elevators & Escalators, ISO Standards.

- Bachelor Of Engineering / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qyualification.
- Acquired business leadership skills through on the job program is a plus.
