Alfanar Electric is the industrial arm of Alfanar, manufacturing a variety of low, medium, and high voltage electrical construction products.

Industrial Complex, Riyadh:

The center of Alfanar's industrial activities is the Alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses Alfanar's facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose:

This position exists to perform preparation of base and detail design drawings activities efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas:

• Proto Assembly and Field Trials: Conduct proto assembly and field trials (if applicable), ensuring all processes align with design requirements.
• 3D Modelling and Documentation: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings in SAP ECTR, including BOM creation, tolerance stack-up analysis, and ensuring design outputs conform to design inputs.
• Packaging Development: Develop packaging solutions, including product packing, leaflets, and catalogues, to support product presentation and marketing.
• Workplace Safety and Organization: Ensure a safe and healthy work atmosphere by maintaining 6S in the work area and following good safety and housekeeping practices in the design office and stores.
• Prototype Preparation and Monitoring: Prepare proto assemblies, display boards, and functional demo samples as per design requirements, and monitor new product assembly trials during NPD pilot lots, conducting preliminary tests on prototypes and finished products.
• Material Organization and Inventory Management: Organize materials properly in the design storage location, including tested samples, competitor samples, and trial samples, and arrange for material from production/stores while facilitating inventory counting and scrapping of materials.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain documents as per NPD stage gate deliverables, ensuring records are kept in designated locations for easy access.

• Delivery: Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
• Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
• Business Process Improvements: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
• Compliance: Comply with related policies and procedures and work instructions.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Academic Qualification:

Diploma degree in design.
