Job description / Role

Job Purpose

This Position exists to perform Preparation of base and details design drawings activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

Drawing Preparation and Design:
- Prepare detailed drawings using design software, tailored to customer specifications.
- Develop comprehensive layouts for full product parts, ensuring their suitability for the manufacturing stage.

Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare As-built drawings for manufactured products, documenting changes and final configurations.
- Ensure all drawings and designs meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.

Role Accountability

Team Leadership and Development
- Train subordinates and form a team to work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate assignments to subordinates based on their respective roles.
- Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation among team members.

Operational Management
- Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time constraints.
- Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
- Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution of planned tasks.

Quality Control and Process Improvement
- Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications for products or related activities.
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seek automation opportunities where possible.

Compliance and Safety
- Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and high-quality delivery.

Academic Qualification
- Diploma Degree in Design

Work Experience
- Fresher - 0-2 years
