Job description / Role

Job Purpose

This position exists to perform preparation of base and detailed design drawings activities efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

• Preparation of Detailed Drawings
  - Create precise and comprehensive drawings for all mechanical parts using CAD software, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  - Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and understand design intent, ensuring all aspects are accurately represented in the drawings.
• Assembly Layout Development
  - Develop detailed assembly layouts for complete product parts, ensuring all components fit together correctly and are suitable for the manufacturing stage.
  - Review and refine assembly designs based on feedback from production teams to optimize manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
• As-Built Drawings Preparation
  - Create as-built drawings for manufactured products, documenting any changes made during the manufacturing process.
  - Ensure that as-built documentation is accurate and reflects the final product for future reference and compliance.
• Tender Drawings Creation
  - Prepare tender drawings according to customer specifications, ensuring clarity and completeness to support the bidding process.
  - Work closely with project managers and sales teams to understand client requirements and incorporate them into the tender documentation.

  - Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
• Compliance:
  - Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.
• Health, Safety, and Environment:
  - Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Academic Qualification

• Diploma degree in design or any relevant field.

Work Experience

• Fresher - 0-2 years.
