EFL Instructor - Saudi Arabia

Are you a qualified English Language/ EFL/ ESL Teacher interested in working in Saudi Arabia? Are you a native English Speaker? Do you hold an English related Bachelors Degree and a Teaching qualification such as CELTA/ DELTA or TESOL?

Alderwood Recruitment are currently seeking qualified and experienced EFL/ ESL Instructors for an independent not-for-profit training organisation based in Al Ahsa, Eastern Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You will be delivering high quality English language training to 18 & 25 year old trainee's. English language training will be geared towards the trainee's technical specialisations alongside computer literacy, technical mathematics, science, safety awareness, personal discipline and work ethics modules.

Our Client is looking for native speakers of English with a minimum of 4 years' teaching experience post qualifying as a teacher. Candidates must hold an English Language related Bachelors degree alongside an English language teaching qualification such as; CELTA, DELTA or TEFL (minimum 120 hours study).

In return you will receive:
* Competitive tax free salary of 14,400 SAR/ month (approx £31,000 per annum)

Requirements

* A Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Literature, Education, TEFL or TESOL
* A recognised English teaching certificate such as: CELTA, DELTA, TESOL or TEFL. Minimum of 120 hours study.
* At least 4 years' experience delivering English language training after gaining your teaching qualification
* Candidates must be of Anglophonic nationality i.e. British, American, Canadian, South African or Australian.

Please note: candidates will only be considered if the above qualifications have been obtained from Anglophonic Universities or Training Organisations.

Desirable requirements:
* Experience delivering EFL/ ESL in the Middle East region
* Cultural awareness of living and working in the Middle East, including knowledge of the educational systems
* Experience delivering in a Virtual Learning Environment
* Experience with educational technology and equipment
* The ability to respond positively to change and to be effective in changing situations
* Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines
* Capable of working independently in projects at an early stage of development
* Enthusiasm and be a performance-driven team player
