Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities

- Develop electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
- Specify and select electrical components and materials based on project requirements.
- Conduct simulations and tests to validate system performance and efficiency.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in existing electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and recommend preventive maintenance strategies
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with local and international standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols during projects.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including technical reports, specifications, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in electrical engineering.
- Implement energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in system designs.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
