Description

This position is based in Ireland.
Designs, develops, tests, and supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for a wide range of applications (e.g., power generation, electronics, telecommunications, automotive). Solves complex technical problems and ensures systems meet specifications and regulations.

Key duties:

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and applications.
• Conduct research and implement new electrical technologies.
• Analyse and solve complex electrical problems.
• Supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• (For senior roles) Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• (For specialized roles) Experience with specific technologies (e.g., power systems, embedded systems, renewable energy).
