Duties and Responsibilities

• ETAP power system studies for feasibility study, FEED, and detail engineering projects.
• Hands-on experience and perform power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, ground grid, protective relay coordination, power factor correction, harmonic analysis.
• Review of electrical engineering design deliverables such as load list, SLD, cable sizing, equipment sizing, cable and conduit schedule, etc.
• Prepare ETAP power system studies reports.
• Interpretation and implementation of IEEE/ANSI and IEC standards.
• Coordination with electrical project team for project deliverables.
• Estimation of system studies MHs for tendering purposes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's of Engineering/Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Five years or more of experience in electrical power system studies.
• Saudi engineer with proven experience in system studies using ETAP software for oil and gas and petrochemical projects (experience in engineering consultancy).

Key Skills and Technical Competencies

• Must be a reliable engineer who can work independently.
• Must be proficient in reviewing design calculations and drawings.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and Sabic standards is an advantage.
• Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of design practices, construction practices, and procedures.
• Must be proficient in English; oral and written communication.
