Electrical Engineer - Paper / Tissue Industry

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the paper and tissue industry to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate is innovative and will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to sustainable practices and technological advancements in the industry.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical systems and components for paper and tissue production processes.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all electrical engineering projects.
- Support the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices within the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical training and support to staff on the operation of electrical systems and equipment.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the paper or tissue industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations relevant to electrical engineering.
- Experience with PLCs, electrical drawings, and process control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
