Electrical Site Engineer

Job description / Role

This job exists within Civil Work Domain to inspect, monitor and supervise the execution of electrical works, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems in the tower site and new buildings.

Requirements

- Candidates must have 7+ years’ experience in Electrical works or similar
- Experience in Construction principles
- Field experience is a must
- Good knowledge of process of Sceco coordination
- Fluent English - written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills
- Experienced in working in large complex project environments
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work with highly confidential information
- Flexible, enthusiastic, motivated and self-confident
- Adhere to company on site Health and safety requirements
- Computer literate Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must have experience of FR, Fiber and Cat5 terminating and additional electrical IEEE and mechanical skills would be beneficial
- Must have good understanding of Electrical Installation related to buildings / power / 1st Fix and 2nd Fix Electrical works / earth Grounding Systems/ Equipment Earth protection / Internal Equipment rooms/ Generators Installation / Ancillary equipment / Auto Cad Drawings and background in telecommunication in the field roll outs would be advantageous
- Able to read / interpret Electrical schematic Drawings
- Understanding of Electrical processes and procedure
- Understanding of Electrical Specification and Requirements
- Good knowledge of International Standard and Saudi Building code
- Experience in understanding low voltage power requirements
- Experience in conduction performance tests in the power supply and structured cable
- Solid knowledge inapplicable electrical standards and norms to conduct and test the above mentioned fields of work
- Reporting into management in term soft Microsoft Office Software and General Daily Reporting regarding electrical installation Must have great coordination ability and follow up with government agencies like SCECO and others
- Familiar with how to apply for commercial power, pay fee, follow up and termination on site
- Familiar with procedures, regulations and forms to work with SCECO
