Industry Energy Technology (IET), part of Baker Hughes Company, operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. Our Mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.

As an electrician, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams and understanding the use of tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and identify and correct electrical issues.
• Installing and mounting electrical equipment, including subpanels, cable trays, circuit breakers, wiring, and junction boxes, and cut/pull cables and cable termination.
• Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Working on assembly/disassembly, adjusting, and installing electrical materials to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
• Performing testing such as functional and continuity tests.
• Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
• Taking ownership for completion of QC sheets, manufacturing forms, and completion work forms.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in packaging lines.
• Experience in electrical activities such as assembling cables, cable glands, testing, electrical connections, and cut/pull cables and cable termination.
• An understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Good knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand packaging drawings.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves and safety glasses.
• Deftness and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English.
