Job description / Role
CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- To maximize distribution of utility services needed by the Dairy and Bakery Operations to the agreed standards.
- To manage and coordinate all engineering and maintenance needs with respect to utility services and equipment.
Requirements
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- Minimal Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Refrigeration.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
- Spoken & written English.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in leading a multi-skilled maintenance team within utility engineering (to include MV electrical /steam raising / refrigeration / compressed air ).
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong, confident and energetic leadership style, positive attitude, solution orientated.
- Knowledge of all aspects of utility plant and distribution system Familiar with and supporter of Quality systems Recognized technical skills within the team Knowledge of: Coaching skills Engineering principles Troubleshooting/Fault diagnosis Read and Interpret drawings Discipline and grievance procedures Reporting.
