WSP Middle East are currently looking for an Engineering Manager - Dry Services to join a major project in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Provide technical leadership and expertise in Electrical engineering and the capability to lead telecommunications engineering for dry services.
* Review and approve design plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to ensure effective integration of electrical and telecommunications systems.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and improve the efficiency and performance of dry service solutions.
* Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects related to dry services.
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements.
* Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and make data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and regulatory bodies, to understand requirements, address concerns, and ensure successful project outcomes.
* Communicate project progress, technical issues, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project specifications and timelines.
* Establish and enforce quality control processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable electrical and telecommunications infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety guidelines during design, installation, and maintenance activities.
* Conduct periodic audits, inspections, and testing to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Continuous Improvement:
* Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
* Initiate and lead initiatives to implement best practices, leverage new technologies, and optimize engineering processes.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in electrical and telecommunications engineering, with a focus on dry services.
* 20+ years post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, including project management responsibilities.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical and telecommunications systems, equipment, and technologies relevant to dry services.
* Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations governing electrical and telecommunications infrastructure.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
