Engineering Manager - Precast Villa Construction

• Required to join a contractor working on precast villa projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and engineering on this project.

Responsibilities include
• Provides engineering input for the Project Plan;
• Identifies, plans and delegates the design and engineering activities required for the production of Engineering deliverables relevant to all disciplines for specific projects or tenders or other forms of proposals;
• Prepares the scope of work tasking for Design-, Engineering, Supply- and Installation Sub-Contractor as appropriate;
• Responsible for the coordination of the engineering activities with other disciplines and for monitoring / reporting on progress, identifying deficiencies and initiating corrective actions as and when required;
• Manages leads, motivates and monitors the performance of Engineering Staff to ensure timely execution of their activities;

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria
• A degree in engineering
• Experience of working on precast villa projects in the Gulf
• Excellent knowledge of engineering and construction processes
• Minimum of 15 years in the design and engineering of projects of which at least 10 years in a supervisory position;
• Good communication abilities;
• Fluent in English.
