Purpose:

  • Statutory environmental approval undertakings and conditions.
  • Worley environmental standards and aspirations.
  • Reasonable community and stakeholder expectations.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively leading and advising project (including sub-contractor) line management in the implementation of the environmental components of the health/safety/environment management system.
  • Acting to directly support the efficient implementation of project-related environmental commitments and conditions.
  • Monitoring compliance with proactive involvement with project-related environmental commitments and conditions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of environment management-related documents and programs.
  • Acting to identify improvements in the project's management system and management initiatives, particularly in relation to environmental matters.
  • Efficient completion of other assigned tasks as directed.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety, and the environment by:
  • Being aware of local statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the project objectives in the areas of health, safety, and the environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualifications - bachelor's degree.
  • In-field site development experience required.
  • Environmental management system structure and implementation experience.
  • Competent to deliver environment-related training effectively.
  • Field/site experience.
