Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To deliver and develop a relevant and up to date curriculum to students. To use outstanding classroom management and teaching skills to maximising student attendance, retention and achievement.

To contribute positively to the college strategy for continuous improvement. Maintain relevant professional standards and personal development, ensure appropriate student conduct within the college.

Devise assessments and assess student work providing positive and effective feedback and record results. Ensure all Quality Assurance procedures are fully complied with.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in English Language or Literature, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or education.
- Hold a minimum of a CELTA qualification or equivalent. A DELTA qualification (or equivalent) being desirable.
- Where you are not a native English speaker, have an IELTS 7.5 or equivalent. You will be required to provide evidence of this prior to your interview.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
