Reporting to: Curriculum Team Leader
Number required: 7
Duration: 1 year fixed term contract - potential for renewal
Desired start date: 14/08/2016
Probation: 3 months

Main responsibilities:
- Deliver and develop a relevant and up to date curriculum to students. To use outstanding classroom management and teaching skills to maximising student attendance, retention and achievement.
- Plan, prepare and deliver teaching sessions as required.
- Be responsible for assessing, recording and reporting on student development and progress.
- Ensure that you create a culture that is aligned to the values within the college and appropriate to the cultural conventions and specific environment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Undertake tutorial/pastoral and student support related duties.
- Develop teaching and learning materials relevant to teaching duties and course team student groups.
- Work with employers and agencies to promote employer engagement on vocational courses, including ad-hoc work placements.

Working Hours: 40 hours a week (25 hours teaching) Sunday - Thursday
Travel requirements: You will be required to travel to KSA 1 week prior to start date
Gross monthly base salary: Tax free salary - 15,000 SAR per month
Commission / Bonus: End of contract bonus (circa 2 weeks salary – tax free of course!)
Other Benefits: All expenses paid fully furnished accommodation within a sought after location, return flights, free transport to and from work, 30 days holiday plus an additional 11 ‘bank holidays’

Requirements

In order to be considered you will need to be able to answer yes to the following...
- Do you have a relevant teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed)?
- Do you have a degree? Doesn’t matter what it’s in!
- Do you have experience teaching the subject in a Further Education College?
- If you’re not a native English speaker – do you hold an IELTS qualification?
- Do you want to take on a job that will offer you the experience of a life time?

Visa requirements
There are some age and nationality restrictions which affect a colleges ability to obtain a visa in Saudi Arabia. Due to these restrictions, please find below requirements of obtaining a visa for Saudi:
- Candidates must be aged between 30 and 57 years old.
- You must have a minimum of 6 months valid on your passport.
- Any candidates who are not British, Irish, Australian or American are immediately rejected.
