Job Description

Planning, organizing, and managing sports events through all stages, while coordinating with relevant entities to ensure smooth execution that meets international standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing sports events.
  • Full knowledge of procedures for organizing international sports events.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage crises.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate between member states.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual plans for sports events in coordination with relevant departments and set strategic goals for each event.
  • Coordinate with sports committees in member states to ensure events are implemented in line with international standards.
  • Develop detailed budgets for each event and monitor spending to ensure adherence to financial allocations.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and promotion plans across various communication channels to ensure broad audience engagement.
  • Create comprehensive analytical reports to assess event performance and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Supervise the preparation of venues, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and logistical support.
  • Manage work teams and volunteers by delegating tasks, offering support, and ensuring effective performance.
  • Apply and enforce safety and security standards to ensure the safety of participants, attendees, and organizing teams.
  • Develop tools and surveys to measure the satisfaction of participants and audiences, analyzing the results to enhance event quality.
  • Coordinate with media outlets to ensure extensive coverage of the events and prominent media presence.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of events, such as sound systems, lighting, and live broadcasting.
  • Manage risks by creating comprehensive emergency plans to handle unexpected situations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations related to organizing sports events.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in sports event management and implement global best practices.
