We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team of our client in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for creating nutritious and delicious meals tailored to the dietary needs of patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all food preparation and culinary activities within the healthcare facility.
- Develop nutritious, balanced menus that comply with healthcare dietary requirements and patient nutrition plans.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards following local and international regulations.
- Manage inventory, procurement of ingredients, and budget to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with dietitians, nutritionists, and healthcare professionals to address specific dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor kitchen operations to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to guarantee patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, preferably within healthcare or similar institutional settings.
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, nutrition, and food safety regulations in healthcare environments.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Must be able to join immediately or maximum of 30 days' notice period
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing patient dietary needs.
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost control techniques.
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia and adapt to local culture and regulations.
Salary:
SAR
20,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
