Executive Chef
Quest Search & Selection is working with a well-known 5* International Hotel, looking to hire a very unique Executive Chef (Hotel) to oversee the culinary offerings in a new opening 5* Hotel in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They are looking for an innovative Executive chef with a solid background in Events/Banqueting/All day dining/International cuisine.

Ideal candidate will be managing high quality large scale operations in either Hotels or overseeing multiple high-end establishments.

Job Description

As the Executive Chef you must perform the following duties:
• Designing and costing of all menus.
• Excellent knowledge of International culinary arts.
• Oversee Production of high quality meals.
• Supervision of the kitchens and distribution, in line with the company's standards.
• Understand the fiscal management of a large food and beverage operation.
• Have working knowledge of 24 hr production kitchens.
• Training and development of new staff.
• Monitor all areas of food production.
• Responsible for the control and maintenance of all equipment.
• Ordering and Procurement of all food goods.
• Managed a large kitchen operation before.

Requirements

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Executive Chef)

Experience:
• You must have international and GCC experience in high-quality establishments.
• You must have creative flair and experience in menu development.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Have complete understanding of Hotel operations.
• Support company Directors and the Hotel GM of committing to a strategy and vision for the Hotel.
• Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions.
• Qualifications from a reputable Culinary institute are preferable.
