Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a visionary Executive Director - Destination Marketing & Activation to lead our efforts in transforming Qiddiya into a world-class destination for entertainment, culture, and adventure. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that elevate Qiddiya’s profile and drive visitor engagement.

As the Executive Director, you will oversee all aspects of destination marketing, including branding, promotional campaigns, public relations, and activation initiatives. Your leadership will ensure we not only attract visitors but also create memorable experiences that keep them returning to Qiddiya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive destination marketing strategy that aligns with Qiddiya's goals and enhances its brand identity.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns that effectively promote Qiddiya’s unique attractions and experiences to local and international audiences.
  • Oversee the organization and execution of events, activations, and promotional activities that showcase the diverse offerings at Qiddiya.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and impactful.
  • Analyze market trends, visitor data, and competitive landscapes to inform strategies and adjust campaigns as needed.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, tourism boards, and travel operators, to drive collaborative marketing initiatives.
  • Lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional development.
  • Maintain budgetary oversight for marketing activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximization of return on investment.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in destination marketing, tourism promotion, or relevant fields, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of destination marketing strategies, visitor psychology, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing successful marketing campaigns and managing large-scale activation events.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
