Versatile International is the Middle East’s first full-service stone project management consultancy. Working with some of the region’s most iconic destination-scale developments, the company has built an excellent reputation for its expert natural stone knowledge and attention to detail.

Versatile International has openings for specialist consultants with experience in natural stone construction. This is a client facing role with responsibility for advising the client all all aspects go natural stone planning, sourcing, installation methodology, quality management and best-in-class workplace practices.

• Reporting to the Managing Director, this role offers the suitable candidate the opportunity to become part of a fast-growing team that not only delivers exceptional results but also contributes to the remarkable progress and growth of Saudi Arabia.

Relevant Experience
• The successful candidate will have a proven track record of at least 10 years in the construction industry, with a focus on project management and delivery and special expertise in natural stone design, sourcing and installation.
• The candidate should have a background in providing consultancy services to clients. Versatile International is not a contractor. The company provides guidance and governance to asset owners and developers and the successful candidate should have a proven ability to identify client challenges and provide sound advice.
• The candidate should have extensive experience in overseeing the full life cycle of construction projects. This includes but not limited to, coordinating with suppliers, managing fabrication facilities, and ensuring timely and accurate installation on-site.
• The candidate must be able to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to articulate project requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with company objectives and standards.
• The candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, with experience in managing both on-site and off-site teams. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Understanding of the properties and characteristics of different types of stone is essential. The candidate should be able to assess the suitability of stone materials for specific applications and interpret test results to inform decision-making.
• The candidate should have experience in developing and reviewing detailed Installation Method Statements (IMS) for stone projects. This involves outlining step-by-step procedures for safe and efficient installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical stone fixing systems and techniques is critical for ensuring the stability and durability of stone installations. The candidate should be familiar with a range of fixing methods and best practices for securing stone elements in various applications.
• The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. This includes the ability to analyse technical data, identify trends and patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
• The candidate should be adept at setting measurable goals, tracking progress against targets, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
• The candidate should have experience in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. This includes project status updates, highlighting key achievements and challenges, and providing strategic recommendations for addressing issues and achieving objectives.
• The candidate must be able to articulate complex ideas and technical concepts clearly and concisely, both in written reports and oral presentations.
• Strong report writing skills are essential for documenting project progress, findings, and recommendations effectively.
• The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from a recognised and accredited institution.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in construction management or related disciplines are highly desirable.

• The candidate should demonstrate honesty, transparency, and accountability in all interactions and decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and company policies at all times.

Salary:
AED 40,000 to 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
