Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Weekly performance review of CPI, SPI & other KPIs
• Ensuring Fixed Week plans are utilized correctly
• Overtime control of field staff
• Achievement of daily progress requirements
• Running the Daily Co-Ordination Meeting as per company's standards
• Ensuring correct crew composition
• Removal of un-utilized equipment
• Critical Time Management
• Identification and elimination of road blocks
• Performance management of supervisors and field staff
• Ensuring HSEQ compliance and driving appropriate HSEQ culture & behaviors
• Develops production plans, taking into consideration raw material requirement, maintenance requirements and shift scheduling based on the quantity required.
• Oversees all stages of the production process to ensure that production is on time to the required standards and within budget
• Updates policies and procedures for production
• Develops production schedules in conjunction with project managers; plans, directs and assigns duties for manufacturing personnel in addition to scheduling and authorizing overtime as necessary to meet production schedules.
• Ensures employees are adequately trained
• Implements fabrication strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports the company's strategic initiatives.
• Coordinates and recommends procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations etc.
• Tracks the development of subordinates and provides leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives

Requirements

Industry Background:
• Mechanical construction, piping, shutdown & turnaround

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institute

Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in the related field
• A Fabrication Shop Manager familiar with Aramco standards to manage our ASME certified fabrication facilities equipped with state-of-the-art machinery including automatic, semi-automatic and manual welding equipment, machining tool shop
• To support our Construction projects with miscellaneous fabrication, erection and construction activity as required.
• Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
