Employment: Full Time

Facilities Management Engineer must be an ultimate organizer, making sure that a workplace meets the needs of customers by managing all of the related duties.

In this job, the candidate will be responsible for building a team to provide the management of services and processes that support the core business of any organization.

The Candidate must have a solid back ground of minimum 5 years in Facilities Management industry for both hard and soft services, he should be familiar with market norms and best practices in the FM field.

The candidate must have a solid experience in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. Likely areas of responsibility include:
• Building and Grounds maintenance
• Cleaning
• Catering and Vending
• Health and safety
• Procurement and contract management
• Security
• Space Management
• Utilities and Communications Infrastructure

Each customer has his own nature, so the candidate must be capable of tailoring the services according to customers’ needs, but will generally focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering ( Electrical /Mechanical )
• Arabic / English fluent ( Reading /Writing )
• Preferred if accredited from IFMA or BIFM.
• Relevant 5-10 years Gulf Experience (Preferred Aramco Experience)

Core Competencies:
• Able to do site surveys and estimate the needed resources from an FM point of view.
• Able to deal with clients in tendering phase and study tender documents.
• Able to review and develop budget plans
• Able to do martial planning
• Familiar with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Familiar with CMMS/ CAFM software packages.
• Ability to develop work flows and to do business planning.
• Should be aware of Quality measures related to the FM industry
• Ability to develop reports
• Ability to manage services providers including security, parking, cleaning, catering, and so on
• Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained
• Able of managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Very familiar with government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
• Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness ability to overseeing building projects, renovations
