Facility & Maintenance Manager

Job description / Role

Objectives: As the Facility Manager of our exclusive high-end residential compound in Khobar, you will be responsible for organizing, monitoring, and supervising facility maintenance operations, security the compound which consist of more than 300 villas and 300 hotel room.

Reporting to: GM
Duration: Permanent

Main responsibilities:
- Overall management and delivery of all facility and other related support services across the compound including but not limited to; Mechanical and Electrical maintenance, Landscaping, Waste management, Car Parking, Housekeeping, Security, Health and safety aspects, Building outfit maintenance and utility management.
- Ensuring that the facilities meet government and environmental regulations, health and safety audits, security and fire detection/fighting standards.
- Ensuring effective implementation of preventive maintenance programs and efficient consumption of resources.
- Emergency prevention and operational controls
- implementing and monitoring energy saving program
- The preparation of financial forecasting and operational budgets of the FM department.
- Tenant’s relation and ensuring compound operational and safety policy are compiled by all tenants.

Desired start date: Before Dec 2016
Gross monthly base salary: 15-20K+ SAR, depending on experience and qualification

Requirements

- Degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in high end property management out of which at least 3 years in senior management
- Fluency in spoken Arabic is also an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational and communication skill (both written and oral)
- Strong customer service skills with good experience of managing staff, contractors and stakeholders.

Specialist knowledge:
- Read and understand construction drawings, plans and specifications.
- Organize and direct facility maintenance operations and activities.
- A good understanding of property maintenance, methodologies and processes.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Be able to use AutoCAD software and respective drawings.
