Employment: Full Time

The Main Purpose:
The main purpose of the Facility Officers's job is to perform highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain the Rawabi Electric and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support in achieving the business goals and objectives.

Principal Accountabilities
- Meets facility maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information, plans and reviews to Rawabi Electric short and long term operational plan(s).
- Meets facility maintenance and financial targets by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment to identifying any potential problems, requirements or need.
- Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
- Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions.
- Oversee emergency/unscheduled repairs and execute schedules maintenance repairs.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report any unusual situation(s).
- Track and maintain records on all facility maintenance and repairs.
- Set daily working schedule, and direct and delegate workload to maintenance personnel.
- Ensure all processes, procedures and documentation is implemented.
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary facility maintenance.
- Prepare weekly facility maintenance schedules and reports.
- Supervise and train facility maintenance technicians.
- Supervise, train facility maintenance technicians and tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, etc.)
- Inspect and maintain building management systems (heating, ventilation & HVAC, fire pumps, etc.)
- Follow up preventive maintenance with contractors.
- Receives, organizes, and prioritizes facility maintenance work orders.
- Ensure that work orders are completed properly and promptly by repairing or replacing equipment personally or by coordinating the efforts of the facility maintenance team.
- Contacts and oversees vendors for work not performed in-house. Inspect and approves contracted work completed.
- Develops and maintains preventive facility maintenance schedule and assigns tasks for completion by facility maintenance staff.
- Monitor and regularly inspects Rawabi Electric, units, landscape, and facility maintenance repairs for quality, readiness and safety. Identifies and addresses needs for improvement, repair and/or replacement.
- Keeps the facility maintenance shop clean, organized and in good working order.
- Communicates and shares information with property and regional management regarding overall property maintenance condition, status, and staff. Ensures facility maintenance goals and objectives are mutually understood and provides feedback.
- Continually monitor the facility for compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations in coordination with HSE Officer.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical.
- At least 6 years of related work experience.
- At least 2 years of related work experience in a supervisory role.
- Familiar in electrical and mechanical components and symbols.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Computer literate
- Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary and to work as part of a team.
- Smart and business-like appearance.
- Ability to work to a high standard while under pressure to produce results.
- Commitment to alert's aims and values.
- Communicate effectively both orally and writing.
- Able to trace the problem(s) and troubleshoot.
