About the role
Over the past few years here at YALA we have experienced incredible growth and as such the team has been growing from strength to strength. As a result of this exciting growth period, we are looking for a talented, extremely organised experienced Factory Production Supervisor to work within the Product Team to oversee production and ensure that orders and products are produced to brief, are to the highest standard and key dates are hit.

Duties for this Factory Production Supervisor position include:
• Create and maintain the critical path for each order, ensuring key dates are hit
• Liaise and communicate with internal teams / factories regarding dates and delays
• Request barcodes, products codes and all other relevant information from logistics team and factories
• Raise purchase orders with factories and suppliers
• Keep other departments and teams updated on order progress
• Check samples for suitability and quality and file onto the system
• Liaise with the technical team to ensure all products are compliant
• Ensure samples are distributed to necessary teams and have been assessed for improvements
• Check all artwork against criteria before sending to the factories
• Maintain and update product information onto the database
• Organising checking of pre-production and mass production samples to ensure compliance
• Assist internal teams with any production issues
• Oversee factory communication on how best to resolve issues
• Visit the factory to check production, samples and factory inspections
• Attend trade shows

Requirements

About You
• 5+ years’ experience within a production role or similar
• Direct factory experience
• Working knowledge of production critical paths
• Great attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
• Can work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• A positive attitude with fantastic organisational skills
