FBE 3LPE Plant Supervisor

Job description / Role

- Responsible for overseeing day-to day production activities and to achieve maximum production
- Optimize the cycle time and achieving production and quality targets by controlling down time and wastage of raw material
- Managing, supervising and motivating plant’s employees by organizing, facilitating, training and mentoring to safely run production
- Liaison and coordinate with other departments i.e. Production planning and Sales to determine projects’ requirements and ensuring the required raw material and parts availability by coordinating with Purchasing and Stores departments
- Set and monitor production by reviewing QA/QC and Lab reports, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality including the implementation of policies and approved work procedures
- Attend and facilitate Toolbox and production meetings and ensure LOTO are correctly done at plant
- Perform corrective/preventive maintenance on facility equipment and ensure plant’s coating application system is working properly and all equipment maintained properly
- Maintains and completes all required production data and records
- Manages collaboration of measurement instruments and related certifications
- Basic understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9001 standard
- Supports site housekeeping and safety programs, maintaining a work place that is clean and safe
- Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed

Salary:
USD 7,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- An ideal candidate would be someone having supervisory skills and who has worked for at-least 7 years in line pipe coating before and has deep knowledge of the fusion bonded epoxy coating (FBE) / 3 layer polyethylene (3LPE) coating process to ensure the smooth running of production and functioning of the plant.
- Technical background with considerable experience of working in production of line pipe coating.
