Field Service Engineer

Job description / Role

The main functions of the job holder are Onsite inspections, technical support, problem analyzes/trouble shooting and capacity measurements on Liquid Ring pumps, Compressors, Multistage Centrifugal Blowers and other NASH Equipment/Packages on customer side.

The FSE does the Start-up/ Commissioning of Liquid Ring Machines, Multistage Centrifugal Blowers and Engineered Packages and Systems.

A further task for the FSE is to Facilitate sales of Aftermarket products. In addition he has to Maintain, Repair and keep records of the Liquid Ring Pumps in the agent work shop and on the customer side.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Repair and refurbishment of vacuum pumps and Compressors Centrifugal Blowers in workshop and at customer site
- Assembly and fitting of vacuum- and compressor/Blower packages
- Investigation and Evaluation of vacuum pumps and compressors/Blowers presented for repair
- Testing of vacuum pumps and compressors as applicable
- Insitu diagnosis of vacuum Pumps and Compressors/Blowers by means of Orifice and/ or venturi method or as appropirate
- Vibration and condition analysis onsite.
- Internal examination of condition of pumps by endoscope
- Carry out inspection, commissioning and start up of Engg. packages at customer site including all report work and alignment
- Training of customer maintenance crew including principle of operation of the packages and its components and logic of operation.
- Liaise with customer, departmental colleagues, service, production and financial departments, as necessary, enabling coordination of activity to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum company benefits.
- Support and Facilitation of Aftermarket Products and Services Sales Activities in close coordination with Sales
- Trouble shooting of all aspects of the packages

Experience Required:
- 5 -10 years of full time work
- Oilfield site Experience

Education/Training Required:
- Graduate/Diploma Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
- Safety Training
- H2S Training
- Sea Survival (Preferred)
- Any other requirement for Oilfield Onshore and Offshore.
