Job description / Role
Robert Half is working on an exclusive basis with a recognized UK Headquartered company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Role
The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial stability of the company, whilst collaborating closely with the Managing Director as a trusted business partner, contributing to the strategy growth of the business.
We are looking for someone to own the finance function and establish processes and procedures whilst also introducing improvements and efficiencies. Ultimately this role should look to add real value to the company through fully integrating the finance function into the wider business and becoming a key member of the senior management team.
* Develop and execute financial strategies to ensure the company's financial stability and growth
* Provide financial leadership to the executive team and contribute to the overall business strategy
* Produce, analyse and review financial data and trends to make informed business decisions
* Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and other key stakeholders to align financial goals with the overall business objectives
* Act as a strategic partner in decision-making processes, providing financial insights and recommendations
* Oversee the management and forecasting of cashflows to ensure liquidity and financial stability
* Implement proactive measures to optimise cash management and minimise financial risk
* Develop and implement robust financial procedures and processes to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
* Continuously assess and enhance financial controls and best practices
* Manage, lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence and continuous improvement
* Provide guidance and support for professional development
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification - ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent
* Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Finance Director or similar position
* Strong understanding of financial management, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
* Knowledge of Saudi Arabian financial regulations and business practices would be desirable but not essential
