Employment: Full Time

Our client, a growing Food & Beverage company with over 300 stores across the GCC region is looking for a Finance Director - Arabic Speaking (F&B / Retail) to be based in Riyadh. The purpose of the role is to contribute to their strategic management by developing and maintaining strategies within the finance function. The role is reporting to the CEO.

The responsibilities of the Finance Director - Arabic Speaking (F&B / Retail) would be:

* Effective management and control of all capital and revenue budgets and effective management and control of the Management and Administration, Finance, Presented and Produced resources and budgets.
* To have an overview of the activities and budgets for each department to ensure the procedures laid down in the financial regulations are adhered to.
* Monitor and control the quality and cost-effectiveness of services provided by the department to ensure high standards and value for money.
* To liaise with the Human Resources & Administration Manager to ensure staffing levels are maintained, recruiting effective staff as necessary, in line with relevant policies and procedures.
* To ensure the overall effective financial management and reporting for Hospitality Board Holding and actively contribute towards the financial planning and strategic growth of the organization as a key member of the Strategic Management Team.
* To be responsible for the preparation of appropriate financial reports for Boards and to present such at Board Meetings, as and when required.
* To be fully conversant with new initiatives, new legislation and modern thinking in all matters relating to the financial management of the company and to advise the Management Team and Boards accordingly (e.g. Charity, Accounting and other).
* To lead and initiate liaison with auditors, business advisers and funding partners.
* To develop the Management Information Systems used by the company and with an emphasis on effective financial control procedures.
* To manage all the investments to their best advantage.
* To be aware of, adhere to, and implement any legislative requirements consistent with overall duties of this post, with particular regard to Health and Safety policies and procedures, Data Protection Act and Equal Opportunities.
* To undergo relevant training and development required by the Chief Executive.
* Member of Strategic Management Team (SMT).

Requirements

* Arabic Speaker.
* Minimum 10-15 years experience within a financial function at senior level.
* Proven track record of experience in budget preparation and monitoring and forecasting financials.
* Qualified accountant to at least CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA level.
* Good working knowledge of current accounting software systems.
* Proven ability to liaise with statutory agencies.
