Job description / Role
Primary Functions And Essential Responsibilities
• Management of contract finances
• Establishing a system for recording all costs allocated to or borne by the contract
• Based on known or projected costs maintain an up to date forecast of project finances
• Advise management of any potential overspend
• Establish approval mechanisms to prevent over spend
• Approve requests to recruit or procure items
• Procure items or issue request to corporate department
• Validate and approve invoices
• Management of Client expenditure
• Maintain an agreed high level budget for the same
• Advise the Client of any potential over spend
• Agree approval mechanisms for Client staff
• Validate Service Provider (and other) invoices and pass to the Client
• Develop financial models based upon various scenario
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
• Prepare an annual income and expenditure report
• Attend client and internal meetings
• Identify and manage risks.
Requirements
Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelors degree in a related subject or otherwise extensive finance experience and demonstrated financial acumen
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven skills related to the position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to delegate tasks and supervise others
• Great multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
