Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide financial support to the ARLA KSA Business Units, specifically the Sales & Operations functions. This support includes preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts (Long Term Plan / Rolling Forecast / Quarterly Rolling Forecast), monthly closings (accruals, allocations, expense reviews, Profit / Cost Center reviews, and variance analysis), project appraisal, approval and tracking, and other financial planning & analysis activities.
- Coordinate with Regional and Group offices to ensure timely submission of periodical and ad hoc reports, transparency of information and assumptions.
- Work with the KSA Management Team and other Department heads to develop expense Forecasts / Budgets while ensuring alignment with business initiatives and team goals. Identify risks and opportunities that affect the achievement of forecasts, propose any compensating options, and provide scenario analysis.
- Work closely with business to build accurate monthly budgets that coincide with events and seasonal promotional activity.
- Review, challenge and validate investment requests and contracts ensuring CapEx and OpEx projects are budgeted properly. Prepare Executive Summaries as requested.
- Perform ROI analyses on potential new products, routes, distribution centers (proficient understanding of sales volume, direct expense, occupancy, payroll, and capital expenses).
- Build complex strategic models & conduct scenario analyses to portray financial implications of various scenarios (country profitability, channels and product categories), etc.
- Perform periodical manufacturing cost analysis with a full review on bills of material (direct material, direct labor, fixed and variable over heads). Monthly analysis of material usage variances.
- Support month end related processes- financial reporting, expense account review, allocations, reconciliations, research of journal entries, P&L review, etc.
- Track and analyze retail performance; identifying risks and opportunities in partnership with business.
- Present financials to business partners and provide them with ongoing financial insight into operational efficiencies; share early identification of problem areas and relevant reporting as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships cross functionally to promote teamwork and organizational alignment.
- Articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide financial support to Sales Audit and Inventory Control.
- Special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
- Utilize continuous improvement in daily activities to identify process simplification

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- SAP experience preferred
- Retail experience preferred
- Manufacturing cost accounting experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in analytical role
- Flexibility to deal with range of issues both financial and non-financial
- Ability to work effectively, manage multiple priorities and be able to change direction quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Motivated; self-starter; independent
- Ability to be analytical and problem solver
- English language proficiency is a must
