Overview

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to work with Finance & Performance Management (F&PM) in Petroleum Engineering & Development (PE&D).

This financial analyst is a chief position holder of the newly established Compliance unit with three direct reports within F&PM, Responsible to build and maintain the compliance unit, with the aim to ensure that PE&D meets company and industry standards.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to work with Finance & Performance Management (F&PM) in Petroleum Engineering & Development (PE&D).

This financial analyst is a chief position holder of the newly established Compliance unit with three direct reports within F&PM, Responsible to build and maintain the compliance unit, with the aim to ensure that PE&D meets company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a business matter expert (BME), demonstrate a thorough understanding of IFRS applicable to oil & gas business and relate this to Saudi Aramco (SA). D eliver insightful data and analysis in an Accurate, Complete and Timely manner to support PE&D Senior Management's business decisions. Identify areas for continuous improvement, discuss and communicate recommendations with key stakeholders. Point of contact in PE&D for finance and reporting compliance related requests and tasks. Have a solid understanding of the link between the business and the accounting rules to assess the impacts on Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow. Network with key stakeholders, especially within PE&D, other Upstream Admin Areas, Upstream and Finance Business Line. Lead, mentor and develop a group of 2-3 junior and senior professionals.

You will be required to perform the following:
- Conduct and supervise day to day operations within Compliance Unit, including follow-up and reporting on delegated areas and tasks
- Identify areas of importance from a compliance perspective, and inform stakeholders
- Develop sustainable follow-up and reporting procedures and systems
- Responsible to follow-up and report on areas such as, but not limited to: periodic impairment assessments, ARO, enterprise risk management, IKTVA and contact for external and internal audit related queries.
- As a BME, involve in discussions and tasks as agreed with Finance Lead
- Independently prepare information memorandums and proposals

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate, you will:
- Have a BS Degree in business, finance or a related discipline
- Have a Minimum of 10 years relevant experience is required
- Strong IFRS knowledge
- Have Good knowledge with MS Office products such as excel, ppt and word as a minimum, and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Have Further knowledge within areas of database applications, data management applications and data communication and presentation tools is a benefit.
