Financial Analyst

Job description / Role

A Financial Analyst within a manufacturing company is responsible for analysing financial data, creating financial models, and providing recommendations to support business decisions. They also monitor and report on financial performance, identify opportunities for cost savings, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Description

* Analyse financial data and create financial models to support business decisions
* Monitor and report on financial performance, including variances to budget and forecast
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies
* Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as needed
* Present financial data and analysis to senior management and stakeholders

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
* 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or related field
* Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
* Knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Must be qualified with ACCA, CMA, CPA or any other relevant qualification
* BIG 4 experience would be preferred
* Aviation or manufacturing experience is also a plus
