Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company offers FLD Senior Field Specialist to join the team in Dhahran, KSA.

Essential Responsibilities:

- The Field Senior Fluids Specialist will be responsible for the performance of the drilling fluid and / or completion, provides technical and operational support in reference to the liquid and solid products used in the preparation of the drilling fluid (water or oil based mud) based on the operational guidelines of the client.
- Administrative control of the inventory assigned to its work front. Verify and ensure the optimum level of inventory for the effective provision of the service in the field.
- Responsible for laboratory equipment, inventory and maintenance.
- Generation of daily operational and final well reports, completion of consumption formats to generate the billing process.
- Manage the acquisition of data and the interpretation of them through software assigned.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Graduate in Science or Engineering with Chemistry or Petroleum as major subject preferred
- 7 years of drilling fluid offshore experience and product line training required.
- Knowledge of drilling fluids testing in accordance to API 13 B-1.
- Computer literacy to get familiar with proprietary reporting & engineering software's easily.
- Understand Hydraulic analysis to recommend practices and treatment to improve drilling efficiency.
- Ability to perform independently during critical operations like well-control, severe to total losses, stuck pipe etc.

- Expert product line knowledge in addition to meeting competency requirements as outlined in ACHIEVE LEARNING.
- Ability to alternate methods of completing tasks if the set method is not viable.
- Excellent Functional /Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, English language written and oral, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
- Quickly adjusts to changing job assignments/requirements.
