The on-site support personnel shall provide on-site Operations and Maintenance Support to the training devices including the 707 K-3 Boom Operator Trainer device.

Specific requirements for this position are as follows:
- Candidate must be able to repair or replace all failed equipment. It is also expected that the candidate will be responsible for meeting contracted operational availability of the training devices including testing and installation of materials and data files.
- The candidate shall be responsible for maintaining and updating all software and database including the visual database. It is also expected that the candidate will be able to load, configure, manipulate and troubleshoot training device hardware and software to deliver scripted training.
- The candidate shall utilize built-in test systems that use test modes, standard diagnostic software and specialized test programs include identify and report in-service technical and operational issues.
- The candidate shall be responsible for the maintenance and care of the tools and test equipment.
- The candidate shall maintain complete logistics support records.
- Establish maintenance processes and procedures and maintain performance measures and metrics.
- Coordinate training requirements and objectives and develops/assigns training device operator roles and responsibilities.
- Work under minimal direction.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Associates Technical degree and typically (2) two or more years related work experience in General Maintenance and Repair Services or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An Associates technical degree is defined as any 2 year degree, or greater, in science, computer science or information technology field of study or related to training devices.

In addition, experience maintaining Microsoft’s SQL Server DBMS Beyond basic computer skills and a working knowledge of the Windows Operating System and the Graphical User Interface (GUI) would be beneficial, the individuals selected should have experience as a systems manager for Access relational databases, computer security, network communication protocol calls, and relational database management, tuning and maintenance.
