Frontend Developer

Job description / Role

Frontend developer will develop and maintain the front-end of the Mobile and Web applications; gather user requirements, write, and code using an agile methodology, and continuously update the front-end of product; collaborate with internal stakeholders, the development team and Scrum Master to develop, design, build, and launch the products

FRONTEND CODE DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY:
- Writing enterprise-class reusable, testable and efficient software via implementing responsible web design principles for mobile using Hybrid and React Native (in iOS and Android) and web (HTML5/CSS3/jQuery)
- Ensuring development, maintenance and operations of the Mobile apps and Mobile web channels
- Optimizing the libraries and code bits developed for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensuring high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Designing frameworks for creating user apps that grows with the needs of the Digital unit
- Collaborating and partnering up with UX/UI designers and Backend developers to deliver the user experience in alignment with the value proposition and branding

INTEGRATION & DELIVERY:
- Integration with APIs in using bets-in-class security practices (e.g., REST APIs with OpenID Connect, OAuth v2.0)
- Access to relational databases (e.g., Postgress, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Hadoop, MongoDB)

PERFORMANCE:
- Application of performance tuning and testing (with JMeter), Test Driven Development (e.g., with Junit) and Behavior Driven Development (e.g., with Cucumber)

- React Native experience or experience with Native App development in iOS and Android
