What you'll be doing

• The Logistic QHSE officer is the Representative for the Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Management System (QHSE).
• He/She must possess excellent interpersonal skills that are in line with the position.
• Should be Initiative, entrepreneur, team player and constructive player.
• He/she organizes Management Review Meetings and coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards.
• He/she monitors and advises on the performance of the Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Management System and produces data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.
• He/ she develops, maintain customer focus and controls specific procedures.
• He/she is involved in training and supervisory coaching for the new staff in the field of Quality.
• Representative for QHSE Management system based on ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Manage the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management system and certification requirements of the company while assuming the role of Management Representative (MR).
• Developing & Implementation of operational procedures for the logistics department in line with the standard requirements.
• Leading the Quality team to ensure quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management and customer service function of the logistics department is completed
• Set up Logistics KPI instruments for all functions
• Collate and analyse the logistics operations performance results.
• Identify relevant quality-related training needs and plan training
• Ensure procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated
• Take initiative for identifying areas of improvement and working with management to resolve problems that arise
• Conduct regular audits to ensure all procedures are followed and adhered to.
• Interface between the warehouse and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication at all levels across all Companies and Divisions.
• Close analysis, promotion and identification of areas for improvement within Logistics QHSE Management system.
• Regular management information and accurate reporting
• Analysing and presentation of reports for yearly management review or as required.
• Monitoring performance levels through K.P.I's
• Coordination with warehouse management and Human resources for staff training.
• To regularly provide feedback to team members on their performances
• Ensure an efficient system to report damage to equipment fixtures and fittings, which could be a health or safety hazard

Requirements

• Ensure and effective system for reporting accidents, failures, non-conformances and implementation of corrective actions
• Follow up on all audit requirements and schedules
• Review, identify irregularities, develop and improve the existing department processes and procedures.

• Maintain high standard of customer service.
