General Accountant

Job description / Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with Saudi regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and petty cash.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and management reports.
• Perform monthly and annual closings accurately and on time.
• Prepare and file VAT/tax returns and other statutory reports in accordance with Saudi law, with knowledge of e-invoicing requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Improve accounting procedures and maintain effective internal controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in Saudi Arabia).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and Saudi financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP (preferred) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
