Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responabilities

Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of facility management professionals, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Establish and maintain a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous development.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff, and ensure the team's adherence to company policies and procedures.

Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facility services, ensuring smooth functioning of all systems and facilities.
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that services are delivered according to contract terms and quality standards.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Budget & Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage the annual facility management budget, including cost forecasts and expense tracking.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service standards.
- Approve and oversee purchase orders, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure that facility services are delivered within budget and report financial performance to senior management.

Strategic Planning & Improvement:
- Develop and execute long-term facility management strategies in alignment with company goals.
- Implement sustainability and energy-efficient initiatives across the facilities.
- Lead efforts to improve facility performance and optimize operational efficiency.

Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and update emergency procedures, safety protocols, and risk management plans.
- Ensure all staff are properly trained in safety standards and emergency response.

Space Planning & Management:
- Oversee space utilization, including office layouts, and ensure the efficient use of facilities.
- Manage relocations, renovations, and expansions in accordance with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the facilities meet operational requirements.

Customer Service & Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding facility-related issues.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for all building occupants, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on facility status, service levels, and issues.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in facilities management
