Job description / Role
Responsibilities
- Develop and build GRC advisory framework and operating models for multiple clients.
- Develop, implement, and maintain governance and compliance policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations.
- Monitor and assess governance and compliance across various clients to ensure adherence to established policies.
- Conduct regular governance and compliance reviews to identify potential governance & compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations and ensure the organization's policies are updated accordingly.
- Provide regular compliance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify, consult, and evaluate risks associated with business processes and propose mitigation strategies to provide the advisory matrix.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and practices.
- Continuously monitor the risk environment and update risk assessments and management plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with business clients to develop risk awareness programs and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Prepare detailed risk reports for management, highlighting key risks and recommended actions.
- Ensure that business consultancy teams adhere to established processes and standards.
- Review and analyze process flows to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficiency.
- Implement process improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular process audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Audit findings to senior management and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver sessions on governance, risk management, and compliance topics.
- Promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness across organization.
- Create educational materials and resources to enhance compliance and risk management understanding to facilitate project delivery.
- Conduct regular workshops and seminars to keep client informed about compliance and risk updates.
- Engage with clients, and other stakeholders to successful project delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
- Support client engagements by providing insights and recommendations on risk management and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory meetings to stay abreast of best practices and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles, preferably within a consultancy industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian regulatory environment and international compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Advance English proficiency.
- Proficiency in using governance risk management and compliance software tools.
