General
- Looks for opportunities for change. Has the ability to constructively test, challenge and draw out creative ideas and select those that would work. Able to articulate convincingly an idea to their senior manager.
- Provide support within the team and, share knowledge with other team members
- Assist in the design and development of high quality business solutions to meet client's unique project requirements.
- Communicate effectively within the team and with project stakeholders and clients
- Work in alignment to regional vision and strategies to build WorleyParsons Consulting business in the assigned regions
- Provide support in client meetings, including the preparation of meetings and the presentation of the meeting
- Maintains high levels of activity or productivity over extended periods of time; is proactive and self-starting
- Approaches business development challenges positively; maintains enthusiasm despite setbacks; perseveres to attain goals; conveys an air of self-confidence
- Adapts quickly to changing client requirements and perspectives; "thinks on feet" in response to unexpected situations or challenges

Business Development
- Understands CRM sales and marketing dynamics (Seller-Doer Model)
- Allocates appropriate time to business development activities; identifies the need for new business development prospects
- Promote the consultancy practice and WorleyParsons Consulting brand.
- Maintain awareness of, and when suitable act upon, business opportunities to align WorleyParsons technical capabilities with clients' requirements for technical expertise.
- Keep up to date with developments in consultancy practice and general market trends
- Monitor industry and global trends and knowledge of key market drivers

Customer Relationships
- Demonstrates understanding of the strategic importance of personal relationships; proactively builds, maintains, and uses key internal and external relationships to gain cooperation and promote business development objectives
- Uses regular communications to address customer interests and support the value of sustaining the relationship
- Build relationships within WorleyParsons, with its clients and potential clients. Establishes rapport and relationships quickly; is comfortable in various social settings; listens actively; uses open questions to probe and identify customer needs Provide evaluations of customers business needs
- Expand contacts within own clients
- Resolve technical issues when required to support clients' business needs.

Financial
- When required, provide assistance with writing proposals and reports
- Understands economic, financial, industry, and organizational trends to accurately diagnose customers' business strengths, weaknesses
- Is not constrained by standard approaches or packaged solutions

People
- Seeks out application of their technical capabilities into other, possibly unrelated fields.

Requirements

Experience
- 2 years experience in the relevant specialised business areas and/or consulting with proven experience in structuring and analysis or equivalent technical experience.

Qualification
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (Chartered Engineer Preferable)
