Our newest opportunity is for a talented Graduate Engineer (Roads) to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, KSA. Saudi National Graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Assisting in carrying out Roads Design tasks such as horizontal alignment/vertical alignment.
- Assisting to carry out feasibility and optioneering studies.
- Helping to develop and prepare design drawings, reports, design reports, technical and specifications.
- Assisting in resolving simple design problems using both manual and computer methods with minimal supervision.
- Assisting in maintaining quality control and quality standards in all personal work output, checking computations, designs, drawings , plans, estimates and reports prepared for comprehensiveness, technical accuracy and sound application of engineering principles and standards.
- Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with health and safety legislation and KEO health and safety policies.
- Aligning work practices and processes with KEO Sustainability principles
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Displaying a basic understanding of roads engineering concepts.
- Preparing more complex road designs with mentoring and support.
- Giving input into design reports.
- Completing basic design checks.
- Taking design decisions with supervision.
- Planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and performing own work to meet identified time frames and standards.
- Demonstrating a well-developed communication skill including the ability to perform effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a BSc or BE - Civil Engineering. Masters Degree is preferable. Membership of professional institution as well as being or working towards either IEng, CEng / P.E. (Desirable)
