Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant

Job description / Role

- Conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as collateral material and corporate identity from concept to completion.
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout
- Develop signs and environmental graphics.
- Create promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures.
- Develop the layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications.
- Collaborate with printers to select type of paper and ink and execution materials.
- Liaise with advertising companies to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters and other materials (print and electronic).
- Organize symposium of invited speakers
- Develop approved marketing materials to resonate with marketing initiatives.
- Handle marketing collateral inventory and online materials library.
- Place ads with publications or media outlets.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic design
- Marketing and design skills
- Professional Materials toward a portfolio
- Develop ability to work independently
- Organization and Communication skills
- Graphic design skills: experience with one or more of the following: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Quark; some web experience preferred
- Interest in graphic design or marketing field
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to work independently
