Role Summary:

GA Saudi country manager is responsible for Grid Automation overall activities in Saudi. This includes Customer Management, Business Development, Commercial Activities, Operations &projects execution, customer support &customer satisfaction, compliance with EHS and GE Values, Managing Dammam panels Integration Facility & Quality, People Management for GA team in Saudi(sites in Riyadh, Jeddah, Kobar). Will report to GA MENAT leader &will work in close cooperation with all GA regional functions.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Deliver operational results for the portfolio, including financial & market share objectives, managing key business financial performance indicators such as those on the operating statement and balance sheet.
- Build strong relationship with GA customers and business stakeholders: National Grid standard & qualification, projects and operations teams; contractors; system integrators
- Pilot integration facility in Dammam, with team coordination, efficiency and quality improvement.
- Scope = 50+M$ business including Protection Relays, Monitoring/Diagnosis, and Protection & Control Systems/Services.
- Develop innovative opportunities: Digital Substation, micro-grid, APM, new products qualification, diversification with Aramco and other industrial utilities
- Deploy Grid Automation strategy in Saudi, understand competitors' positions, provide SWOT and implement appropriate organization. Contribute to the Grid Solutions and Grid Automation strategy in relation with GA ME leader and functions.
- Be the entrepreneur and drive the business. Be involved in decision making processes. Support, guide and promote unit managers. Be the reference in management behavior. Lead people development across Saudi sites. Be fully compliant with Grid Solutions and Grid Automation instructions. Participate to Grid Automation and Grid Solutions monthly governance cycle.
- Lead the operations in Saudi Arabia and Execute projects in alignment with PMH. Promote no-quality issue policy, monitor quality KPIs and develop customer satisfaction. Implement and ensure compliance with all instructions for tender approval, project execution and project reviews. Build mitigation plans when margin deviations occur. Ensure kick-off and contract closing meetings. Implement sourcing strategy and ensure benefits from actions
- Ensure participation to Grid Automation governance meetings: monthly R&O & push sales calls, monthly region calls with Grid Automation VP and other steerco members, support and provide data to monthly projects portfolio management and reviews including BCR management and anticipation of customer issues.
- Build, lead & coach a team of talent individuals through dynamic and creative employee engagement activities leading to a lean, fast, accountable & winning culture.
- Comply with Quality Procedures, work instructions and Processes, and Spirit and Letter compliance rules. Resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner
- Demonstrate EHS leadership and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented within the team.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology from an accredited university or college.
- Min 10 years of experience of leading Operations or Sales teams, product management, product marketing and/or technical development, in grid automation portfolios.
- Willingness to travel

Desired Characteristics:

- Expertise required in: project management, orders & sales management, P&L management, customer relationships, team management and development
- Successful projects management experience
- Sales development experience in the substation automation and/or relays domain expertise
- Strong business acumen, leadership, discipline in managing the day to day business
- Ability to work in international company with a matrix organizations.
