Employment: Full Time

EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading global industrials business looking for a Group Audit Leader – Emerging Markets to be based in KSA.

The candidate will manage audit and will report to the Board of Directors in Germany, for their global business excluding Europe and the USA. Other functions include undertaking risk assessments and performing or leading, where directed, internal audit engagements of diverse business units or functions to deliver the audit plans established in conjunction with relevant members of the Functional Teams.

Responsibilities would include:
- Establishing and developing effective working relationships with management of business units for which incumbent has risk assessment responsibilities
- Identifying and escalating significant issues
- Sharing knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development
- Providing non-assurance services to business units, where required, through the participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group
- Where undertaking the role of Team Leader, providing interim performance feedback to team members through written evaluations
- Performing, supporting or leading, where directed, the planning, fieldwork and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines
- Acting as liaison with management to ensure full understanding of business strategies, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members via bottom-up continuing risk assessments and dialogue

Requirements

- Effective collaborative skills that contribute to positive working relationships with counterparts in Group Audit and the business
- Demonstrates ability to multi-task without loss of quality
- Professional auditors or business practitioners with core audit / business skills
- Engagement in professional certification activities, including completion of mandatory bank-sponsored industry certifications (e.g. credit, trade finance etc.) where appropriate
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to foster a participative and co-operative work environment
- Professional audit certification encouraged
